3CX IP-PBX v 12.5 or v 14 SIP.US Trunk Configuration

1) Install and confirm 3CX v12.5  or v14 running on Windows 

2) When setting up VoIP Provider, choose Country is GENERIC

choose GENERIC SIP TRUNK under Provider Box,

 

3) For the VOIP Provider Details:

SIP server hostname or IP = gw.sip.us

SIP Server port = 5060

Outbound proxy hostname or IP = LEAVE THIS BLANK

Outbound proxy port = 5060

 4) Under Account Details, fill in these values

External Number = YOUR SIP.US TRUNK ID NUMBER (found on the SIP.US Control Panel, usually starts with ’52’)

Simultaneous Calls = Number of SIP Trunk channels you have purchased for this trunk

 

 

 

5) Under Advanced tab:

Provider Capabilities - Check the ‘Supports ‘Replace’’, ‘PBX Delivers Audio’ and ‘Disable Video’ boxes

Registration Settings:

Time between registration attempts = 60

Require Registration =  Incoming Calls

Codec Priorities = G.711 U-law (we also support G.729 for low bitrate applications, however G.711 U-law is recommended)

6) Under the General tab:

Provider Details:

SIP server hostname or IP = gw.sip.us

SIP Server port = 5060

Outbound proxy hostname or IP = LEAVE THIS BLANK

Outbound proxy port = 5060

Account Details:

External Number = SIP.US Trunk Number (usually starts with ’52’)

Authentication ID = SIP.US Trunk Number (usually starts with ’52’)

Authentication Password = This is your TRUNK password, found on the SIP.US control panel

Simultaneous Calls = Number of SIP Trunk channels you have purchased for this trunk

7) Under the Outbound Parameters tab:

Ensure the Variable is set correctly for each SIP Field.

8) Under the Inbound Parameters tab:

Ensure the Variable is set correctly for each SIP Field.

9) Under the DID tab:

Add the DID with a * plus the 10 digit DID. Ex: *4045554190

10) Under the Source ID tab:

Check the Source identification by DID box.

In the SIP Filed containing DID numbers select ‘To: User Part’ from the dropdown

Click the Add DID button and select the DID to be entered in to the Source Identification by DID box

11) Set up the Inbound Routes for calls to DIDs not entered into the Source Identification by DID box

Select the Trunk Ex: VoIP Providers > SIP.US > 5255555555

Then select where to send the call for Office Hours and Outside of office hours Ex: Connect to Extension 100

12) Set up the Inbound Routes for calls to DIDs which are entered into the Source Identification by DID box

Select the Trunk and DID Ex: VoIP Providers > SIP.US > 5255555555 > *4045554190

Fill out the Inbound rule name.

Set the Inbound Rule type to ‘DID/DDI number/mask’

Then select where to send the call for Office Hours and Outside of office hours Ex: Connect to Extension 202

13) Set up the Outbound Rules

There are 5 outbound rules: US48+ CANADA 10 Digits, US48+CANADA 11 Digits, International, 933, and 911 (933 will TEST your e911 registration)

 

14) If you wish to set the Outbound CallerID for an individual Extension -

Use the OTHER tab on Extension settings under Outbound CallerID field

Apply and Save all changes.
