Go AutoDial SIP.US Configuration

Go AutoDial is an Open Source Auto Dialing platform based on Asterisk and ViciDial. The actual configuration of SIP.US as a carrier in the system is very straightforward, however, because SIP.US expects 11 digits (1+AreaCode+Number) for dialing, care must be taken when programming your dialing. These simple steps will allow you to be up and running quickly!

***NOTE: Dialer platforms must access SIP.US through dialer.sip.us. Trunks on dialer.sip.us will be provisioned very quickly after contacting sales@sip.us to set-up a trial.***

1. Configure SIP.US As a Carrier. Ensure that you change your settings to match the settings in the image below. Pay particular attention to the "Dialplan Entry" box. Settings for the "Account Entry" box can be copied and pasted from the text below:

[SIPUS]
disallow=all
allow=ulaw
type=friend
dtmfmode=rfc2833
context=trunkinbound
qualify=yes
insecure=very
nat=yes
host=dialer.sip.us
username=YOURTRUNK#
secret=YOURTRUNKPASSWORD
fromuser=YOURTRUNK#
fromdomain=dialer.sip.us

2. Save and apply the carrier settings

3. Create a campaign (or edit the default test campaign) and clear out the prefix fields which are circled in the image below. You can use these fields if you are certain you know what prefix you wish to dial. However, you must keep in mind that SIP.US wants to receive 11 digits to dial in the US and Canada.
